Rabat Business School Secures Triple Crown Accreditation

Rabat Business School has become the first business school in Morocco and Francophone Africa to hold the three international accreditations commonly known as the Triple Crown. The achievement follows its accreditation by the Association of MBAs, or AMBA. The school already held AACSB and EQUIS accreditation. Part of the International University of Rabat, it is the fifth business school in Africa to obtain the distinction.

The three accreditations assess different parts of business education. AACSB examines areas including student success, institutional strategy, innovation and impact. EQUIS, awarded through EFMD, considers overall school quality, international activity, programmes, research and relationships with companies. AMBA evaluates MBA programmes, including teaching, course content, career development and graduate employability. Together, they provide several external assessments of the school's work.

Dean Nicolas Arnaud welcomed the result after the school's entry into the Financial Times global top ten for Masters in Management. He said the accreditation recognised the work of its academic community. “Academic excellence knows neither borders nor geography,” he said. The school described the latest accreditation as another step in its international development.

Rabat Business School also reported strong results in specific measures within the Financial Times ranking. It ranked first worldwide for graduate salary progression and overall satisfaction, and fifth for career progression. The school said AMBA accreditation is held by fewer than one per cent of business schools worldwide. Its new status adds to the external recognition already received for its management education and graduate outcomes.
