Jakarta – The Regent of Karimun Regency, Ing. H. Iskandarsyah continues to show his seriousness and commitment in opening the door to investors. This seriousness is proven through the strategic steps of Ing. H. Iskandarsyah who met directly with the Board of Directors of Syifa Energy Sdn Bhd at the Syifa Group head office, Pakuwon Tower, Jakarta City, Wednesday (4/30/2025).
The atmosphere of the meeting which took place was warm and full of enthusiasm, the Regent of Karimun said that this meeting was not just a ceremonial visit. However, it was more focused on discussing the continuation of Syifa Energy's investment plan in Karimun Regency, especially in the oil trade and shipbuilding sectors.
"This meeting is a continuation of previous intense communication with the President Director of PT Syifa Berkah Makmur, Eka Yazmi Ade, S.E. Of course, this is not an empty dream but we immediately invite Syifa Energy to come to Karimun in May 2025," said Iskandarsyah.
To support the realization of this investment, the Regent of Karimun, Ing. H. Iskandarsyah also formed the Karimun Regency Development Acceleration Team which will focus on assisting investors in accelerating the licensing process and cutting administrative bureaucratic channels. This team will act as a direct liaison between investors and related agencies, so that the process that usually takes a long time can be shortened effectively.
"We want to welcome investors with full readiness. Karimun has great potential, and now is the time for us to be more active in attracting investment," he explained.
This step received a positive response and a breath of fresh air from Syifa Energy. The Malaysian company sees Karimun Regency as a region that is not only geographically strategic, but also has active and responsive regional leadership, two things that are key in investment decisions, especially with the clear commitment of the local government in terms of investment facilities.
"We want investors to be able to take action immediately. No more protracted stories because of administrative matters," said Iskandarsyah.
With this initiative, Karimun Regency sends a strong signal as a region that is open and ready to grow with investors. This region, which is on an international shipping route, is establishing itself as a new economic center in the energy and maritime industry sectors in western Indonesia.
This meeting is also not just about business cooperation. Rather, it is a story about a region that wants to progress, and about a leader who does not wait for miracles, but creates them.
