Sabah Farmers Sign Business Cooperation Agreement

The Sabah State Farmers’ Organisation and Putrajaya Area Farmers’ Organisation have agreed to develop business links, including opportunities to sell suitable Putrajaya products in Sabah. The organisations signed a memorandum of understanding in Kota Kinabalu. Their stated aim is to build commercial networks that create opportunities and benefits for both sides.

The partnership brings together PPNS and PPK Putrajaya through a shared intention to explore commercial opportunities. Marketing suitable Putrajaya products in Sabah is one of the proposed areas of work. The organisations said stronger business networks should produce opportunities and mutual benefits for their members.

The signing took place at Promenade Hotel during a farewell dinner organised by PPNS for Sabah Federal Secretary Datuk Mohd Razali Wahab. Participants included PPNS Deputy Chairman Datuk Ng Loi Tect and LPP Sabah Deputy Director Mohammad Utung. PPK Putrajaya Chairman Datuk Ghazali Hassan and Federal Territories and Labuan LPP Director Jafrin Kaingud also took part.

PPNS Chairman Datuk Mohd Nazri Abdullah and Mohd Razali witnessed the signing. Nazri thanked Razali for his contributions during his service in Sabah and expressed hope that he would continue visiting. Razali, who was preparing to retire after more than 32 years in public service, described the occasion as meaningful.
